Roadmap , the instrument layer
The index is the underlying asset.
A trusted reference price is the precondition for a market. The index comes first; the destination is a European instrument layer built on top of it, futures, swaps, and hedges that settle against northdex.
The aim is that datacenters, funds, and companies can trade and hedge compute the way they already hedge power or FX, on an EU-regulated venue. Instruments are the roadmap, not a product available today, the index is what we publish now.
