These terms govern your use of the northdex website, indices, and data products. northdex provides reference information about the price of compute — it is not investment advice, and not yet a regulated benchmark. Please read these terms before relying on any figure.
By accessing the northdex website or using any northdex index or data product (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
northdex operates the Nordic Compute Index — a neutral reference for the price of GPU compute in Europe — and related data products. The index is designed to be a figure two parties can both reference; northdex itself does not trade the compute it prices.
northdex figures are information, not advice. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or enter into any transaction or financial instrument. You are solely responsible for any decision you take, and should seek your own professional advice.
northdex is being built toward the IOSCO Principles for Financial Benchmarks and applicable EU standards, as described on our governance page. It is not currently an authorised or regulated benchmark, and must not be relied upon as one until we state otherwise.
Some figures shown on the site are clearly marked as illustrative previews. Live figures are drawn from our collector and are, today, derived from observable market prices (offer-based) as explained in the methodology. Do not treat illustrative figures as live market data.
northdex owns all rights in the index, the methodology, the Aggregated Output, and the site. You may reference published northdex figures with attribution; you may not reproduce the data products commercially without a licence.
If you contribute pricing data to northdex, the separate data-sharing agreement governs that relationship and prevails over these terms for the contributed data.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work to keep the index accurate and reproducible, we do not warrant that any figure is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, including any trading or financing decision.
To the extent permitted by law, northdex is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on a figure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms as the Service develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms; the “last updated” date reflects the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of [Sweden], with the courts of [Stockholm] having jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection forums. Questions: hello@northdex.eu.
